The Run for the Wall in Colorado City!

Hundreds of veterans rode into town on Saturday on one of their stops on their way to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C.  They were treated to a meal and entertainment at the Railhead Building downtown.  The event is produced by CMS students and their Principal, Mark Merrell and lots of volunteers who work hard to make this an event to remember.

Here they come!

The Deer Creek Cloggers were a huge hit!

A special award was presented to local resident Ken Deliglio, who escaped while held prisoner by the North Vietnamese.

Carter Roberts, a gifted fiddler, was accompanied by Rex Thankerson on the guitar.

Over 700 person filled the Railhead Building for the Run for the Wall.
